Workshop Service Manual for the Piaggio MP3 300ie LT a must-have for any MP3 owner covering all servicing items including drive belt & roller change, Panel removal, Tilt lock ECU location & removal and the dreaded steering bearing replacement procedure, this is one of the biggest jobs to be carried out and most dealers will want to charge you to replace all six bearings but in reality, it’s just the bottom left and right leg tapered roller bearings and cups that need replacing as the constant pounding that travels up through the fork legs cause the roller bearing to indent into the cup that it sits in giving you that “stuck going dead ahead” feeling, this is much more noticeable at slow speeds where it feels like your constantly fighting with the handlebars to keep it in a straight line.
Its also absolutely invaluable if you have to carry out any fault finding on the wiring, sensors & electrical items or any work bleeding the hydraulic systems or the brake system as this is the LT version it also throws in a linked foot pedal which is effectively a third linked brake lever (Cable ties left on pulled in brake levers overnight helps with soft spongey brakes on the MP3)
